★ Carefully examine your hair extensions before starting.

★ Use a paddle brush or wide-tooth comb to gently detangle the hair, starting from the tips and working your way up.

★ Cleanse your extensions by co-washing or washing with sulfate free shampoo in lukewarm water.

★ Be sure to rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water after washing.

★ Apply conditioner evenly throughout the hair, comb it through for even distribution, and let it sit for at least 30 minutes before rinsing again with lukewarm water.

★ Always choose hair care products that are free of sulfates and alcohol.

★ To dry, place the extensions flat on a clean surface or hang them up. For hanging, Joy Mangano hangers with clips are recommended for ease and convenience.

Post-Installation ★★★★★

★ Style your hair gently using a paddle brush or wide-tooth comb to avoid unnecessary tension or breakage.

★ Keep your extensions hydrated by applying a quality leave-in conditioner regularly.

★ Always detangle your hair gently before co-washing or washing to prevent knots and minimize shedding.

★ Limit the use of heat styling tools. If you need to use heat, always apply a heat protectant. Hair begins to break down at 422°F — avoid going above this temperature to prevent damage, dryness, or loss of curl pattern. For curly or wavy textures, excessive flat ironing or curling can ruin the natural look and shorten the life of your extensions.

★ Protect your hair while sleeping by wearing a satin bonnet or scarf. A satin pillowcase also helps minimize friction.For curly or textured extensions, use flexi rods or create large twists or braids to preserve the curl or wave pattern. Never sleep with your hair unwrapped.

★ Wash your extensions every two weeks to maintain cleanliness and moisture.
